Pros: adaptive Spaced Repetition system which ensures you don't throw something into easy too fast, you can install multiple tools for things like Latex and eastern languages, free desktop app with 25$ iphone app, you can edit cards off iPhone app, shortcuts galore for navigating the app quicklyĬons: design looks outdated, you can't study multiple decks at once, not as many classes Also, some of the classes, even brainscape certified ones, can be pretty low quality Pros: Lots of classes, 5-choice SR confidence system which makes it simple, modern interface, you can study multiple decks at onceĬons: 80$ for lifetime membership, can't edit the cards on mobile app, images can get truncated if too wide. Currently I'm studying Chinese and financial mathematics. I'm glad I did that instead of the lifetime membership because it turns out Anki is much, much better. When I was studying for my certificate test last month I started off with Brainscape and even paid for the premium membership for 1 month.
